Dr. Philip, born and raised in Michigan, moved here with his wife (Dr. Kat) in 2022. In his free time, Dr. Philip enjoys exploring the Reno-Tahoe area with Dr. Kat, his daughter, Kaia, and their dog Hazel. He loves to travel, and exercise, and is an avid sports fan, especially for his alma mater, the Michigan Wolverines - Go Blue!
DR. KAT
Dr. Kat was born in Chicago, IL. She and her husband, Dr. Philip, eloped in Lake Tahoe in 2021 and knew from that moment that Reno would be the perfect place to start a family. Outside of the office, she, Dr. Philip, and their baby girl Kaia, love to adventure the area. Dr. Kat loves to try all the restaurants Reno has to offer with her family.

Dr. Kevin was raised in Southern California and is a specialist in smiles! He uses the latest technology to give his patients a new sense of self and says he gets the most satisfaction from “Knowing that we’re setting our patients up for good health and positive self-images for the rest of their lives. It’s important to me that when they come here, we make them feel special and they do - you can see it in their smiles!”

Fantastic office — they have very good technology, and the entire staff is just great to work with! They also go out of their way to inject some fun into the process. I’m an adult fixing my bite after not wearing my retainer from my teens for a few years (oops). My teeth are looking awesome and my tension headaches are getting way better. I am currently a patient here and I am actually not hating the process of aligners! It is not near as bad as I was expecting: My favorite part about coming in is definitely the variety of music they play, sounds silly but it really helps me feel comfortable. Dr. Phillip has been great too, always addresses me by name and I can tell how much he cares about my alignment plan.

If you are looking for a great ortho office I recommend coming here, from my free consult to booking my treatment has been all a breezy. Staff is very friendly, love the fact you can text the office sometimes you get caught up to call and texting is easier to just press send and response time is fast. The financing has been great and works with you not any office has that. I have not had a bad encounter with anyone here its all smiles. I can’t wait to finish my treatment and show off my smile. I had my braces on since December 2023. I just got them off yesterday…! Back in 2023, I had actually went to quite a few consults. I ended up choosing here, and I’m really, really glad I did. The other orthodontists all recommended 2-4 extractions, but Personalized Orthodontics was able to do it without any at all. Thank goodness for my wallet avoiding the extractions, and for my overall oral health too!
